PURPOSE

This course reviews human anatomy, physiology and caring for the elderly and the body systems. All healthcare providers and personnel who are working indirectly or directly with patients / residents should review the body systems, Human Anatomy and Physiology and the normal body functions and changes therefore allowing each provider or caregiver to recognize variations from normal body functions, which will allow the healthcare team to obtain or provide the necessary interventions or treatment that is required for the patients/ residents.
