This Phlebotomy course equips healthcare professionals with comprehensive knowledge of Phlebotomy, its purpose, and the integumentary system's relation to it. It covers the vascular system, legal/professional standards, infection control, and handling of accidents/incidents in venipuncture. The course includes classroom lectures, PowerPoint presentations, videos. It prepares participants for the National certification examination. Course entails a 3-week online review followed by the examination at a testing site in your location; NHA is well know nationally. Admission Requirements: High school diploma (or GED) and completion of an approved Phlebotomy program within the last 5 years, Or High school diploma (or GED) and 1 year of supervised work experience in a phlebotomy technician field within the last 3 years; or 2 years of supervised work experience in a phlebotomy technician field within the last 5 years.
